Baked lobster tails and lobster dip are some tradition lobster recipes you might be considering making this holiday season. But how about trying something new? Like lobster quiche.
Lobster Quiche
Ingredients: 1 frozen piecrust, 5 ounces of lobster meat, ¾ cup of whipping cream, 3 eggs, ½ cup of water and 1 ½ cup of shredded cheese (sharp cheddar or monterey jack)
-Defrost the piecrust
-Preheat oven at 325 degrees Fahrenheit
-Rinse and drain lobster meat, cut into small pieces
-In a bowl combine water, lobster, eggs and whipping cream
-Whisk together the ingredients well
-In the pie crust, pour half the cheese and spread evenly across the bottom
-Pour in the lobster mixture and top with the other half of the cheese
-Bake for 45 minutes or until edges are set and center is soft
-Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes -Enjoy!
